World’s first Wireless Transparent OLED TV
This was imagination in Hollywood high-tech sci-fi movies, but now it has come to reality – Thanks to LG company. LG showcased the world’s first transparent TV, an OLED display at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 in Las Vegas that was held recently(January 9-12 2024).
LG Transparent TV called the LG SIGNATURE OLED T, is a combination of a 4K OLED screen and LG’s wireless audio and video transmission technology using a zero connect box.
This wireless audio and video transmission technology has enabled the users to place the TV anywhere in the room irrespective of the power socket with no cables between the Zero Connect Box and the OLED T, users can enjoy a clean, cable-free viewing environment.
We are used to the black screen if we think of a TV, but LG has changed our imagination as this LG transparent TV harmonizes with its environment due to its transparency and see-through screen feature.
This transparent TV gives the freedom for the users to decorate their living area as there is no need to place or hang it on the wall, instead, it can be placed anywhere (against the wall, placed in the center of the room) and can have a dual viewing experience, transparent and opaque as this has Always-on-display (AOD) feature – This feature helps for showcasing artwork, images or videos. As the screen is transparent it blends with the surrounding environment and gives a unique visual effect for the viewers.
